United Kingdom: Aspen Pumps acquires Kwix UK Ltd, Preston-based manufacturer of Kwix pipe straighteners.
The patented Kwix hand tool, introduced in 2012, makes it easy and precise to straighten pipes and coils. It is currently distributed by a subsidiary of Aspen Javac.
This tool straightens all types of light wall flexible pipes such as copper, aluminium, stainless steel, brass and various other types such as RF/microwave cables.
Kwix is ​​the latest in a string of acquisitions by Aspen Pumps since it was acquired by private equity partner Inflexion in 2019. These include the acquisition in 2020 of Australian HVACR component manufacturer Sky Refrigeration, as well as Malaysian aluminum and metal air conditioner component manufacturer LNE and Italian air conditioner bracket manufacturer 2 Emme Clima Srl last year.
